Do not scrub with an abrasive scourer or you will remove the oil coating that protects the pan from rusting and gives it non-stick properties. Then, simply dry with a soft towel and wipe the pan with a small amount of cooking oil which will keep it in pristine condition.I store mine in the oven, and can highly recommended this product to anyone who enjoys cooking quality food with quality utensils. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good product but be ready for a good workout while lifting it . *by S***I on Reviewed in India on 17 July 2021* As the name suggests it’s solid , damn heavy , lid even more heavy . But this weight is needed for long hours of cooking for some specific dishes I guess . I bought it to bake sour dough breads but I feel it’s too big and heavy for my 40 litre oven . If ur oven is bigger then it may fit well. I will have to keep it in the lower rack else the handle of the lid will touch the elements on the top . So I may not be able to use it for the purpose I bought . Plus since it’s too heavy, moving it in and out of the oven may be very tough. It’s superb for stove top but not practical for medium size or small otgs . Since the product was good i decided to retain it for stove top use even though I can’t use it in the oven . Wish it was a tad bit lighter . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy item, poor packing *by R***I on Reviewed in India on 26 January 2021* Received the pack today in a carton which was torn and not strong enough for the item. The delivery boy told it had reached in this condition. The was no inner packing. A bubble packing or at least a paper packing would have solved the purpose. The item didn't get damaged as it's a sturdy product. Though heavy, the thickness is less (around 2mm)than other cast iron utensils(3mm) . Pre seasoning was not good enough, so had to repeat.The photo with lid is after seasoning.
