It is thick, soft, lush and so comfy and warm that it is like I said in the title, like laying in a bath of hot custard on a freezing day! I've never actually laid in a bowl of hot custard but can only imagine that it would feel absolutely luxurious. It was well packed, delivered on-time, and fit perfectly. I live on the coast in Cornwall close to cliffs and have a daily walk along them, lately the sea winds have been blowing VERY chill and cold and it's been a tad uncomfortable. My main coat is a very thick and HEAVY naval pea-coat. I wanted something a bit lighter to wear that would still give enough warmth.This was it! I just can't envisage anything that is better value. It has that lovely fleecy feel, and the furry lining actually feels like REAL fur compared to most.
