The fabric is smooth & not rough.The constitution is very well made and will last.I like that my inserts fit snuggly. I use inserts with real down so they do flatten but will fluff again no problem.The leathery color is nice contrast to my chocolate brown couch.The black one does attract lint from clothing or throw blankets but that doesn’t bother me.
