It can support up to IEEE 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard with 5 GHz connectivity. Even though it should give a transfer rate of 11 Mbps to 867 Mbps, practically it gives around 14 Mbps (1.75 MB/s) transfer rate, when connected with other types of Wi-Fi adapters (that are not IEEE 802.11ac). It has an indicator light for the data transfer, which makes it quite useful. It supports only USB 3.0, but would have been better if it supported USB 3.1/3.2 too.
