**Q: Will this grow coral in a regular 20gal**
A: It is a grow light, very good for plants, but I don't actually know anything about growing coral.

**Q: How tall is the light? I have a custom hood for my 29 gallon (30 inch wide) that i wanted to put it under. i have about 4 inch gap that i could use**
A: It is less than 2" high once it's in place. The brackets expanded and look a little flimsy but I haven't had any problems.  You only have two color options. The white. Which does have a few other colors but the white drowns it all out.  Very bright.  Or the blue. Which is also very bright

**Q: I have a tank which is 30 1/4 inches wide. can the smaller fixture possibly fit or do i have to upgrade to middle size for tanks 36 inches or wider?**
A: The 36" is going to lay over your 30 1/4" tank. I would order the 24-30"  extendable brackets and adjust/bend one side of the bracket to make it fit for that extra 1/4". I love my LED lighting!
