The mirro is black glass, not a mirror at all. It reduces the rear view in the mirror by about 0% due to low reflection. It is like looking thru 90% tint. Then, when the unit is installed wireless it has very limited range. When I did a temp install it worked until I started to put the interior back. The interior (overhear console) blocked enougn signal that it did not transmit a clear image If I lowered the console it worked, so the signal got too weak when it got hidden. I would consider another unit. I am returning this one and going to try another unit.
