Their cousins also love squishy, squashy items. In fact, they always beg for Playfoam and Silly Putty! I'm happy to grant their wish and I think they will love it a lot! I needed something relatively cheaper but still a nice quality, because we need to give 17 (I counted) of these Playfoam packages out to my nieces, nephews, and children. I thought these were reasonably priced and had cute packaging, and I would have 3 left for my own enjoyment. I opened one of them. It was squishy and easy to shape, almost like Silly Putty (It held its shape though). When it stretched, it felt like slime with foam pellets in it. I found that the beads shrink A LOT! So when you first open it, it does seem like a big batch, but it will become smaller and smaller the more you play with it. Make sure not to get it dirty. It isn't a completely mess-free toy, but easier to clean up. The colors are totally random, but you are guaranteed at least one of each color, which is great! Some of the colors have sparkles even! I am so excited to see if the children like it! :) Edit: The children absolutely LOVED it by all means! Even my oldest niece, who is twelve, really liked it! Review: unexpectedly fun for ages 4-50 year old! - We bought this pack to put into my daughters pre school class trick or treat bags, but they were to big to fit.. :( We ended up keeping them and were glad it turned out that way since this play foam is awesome! :) It has no scent, it's not gooey, it doesn't mar or stick to anything-but itself, it's kind of magical! The pack comes with 5 different pastel colors; yellow, green, orange, purple & pink, all the colors have glitter in the foam-that doesn't come off on anything Yay! It's very cool and easy for my 4 year old to use as sculpture material. We have a blob of it sitting on a large cutting board on top of her play kitchen and whenever she wants to play with it we take it down, no need to wrap it up or keep it air tight, it's always "moist" - it's not really moist, but I don't know how else to describe it because it doesn't dry out. We love the stuff and have been playing with it on and off for weeks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ got eaten *by M***S on January 15, 2014* i have three children, the oldest is 4 the youngest 9 months. my older two love playing with this. its alot of fun and for a play dough type thing (though nothing like play dough) it is very clean. it does get dirty though and the colors do end up mixed. i like it for a watched activity or you end up with play foam everywhere! it usually works out well for us. I however, walked away for a second during a session of play foam. My 9 month old (who is walking and getting into everything) managed to get some. I didnt worry about it, i only saw a few bits on her face and assumed it wasn't much. happily the stuff transfers very well through the body and goes into a diaper without issue. she ate alot more than i thought. no chocking, no complaint no grumble about it later. i dont need to be told what a horrible mother i am for letting my baby eat play foam.
