**Q: How long are the bristles? My cat has short fur so I need short bristles to work best.**
A: The bristles are about 1/2 inch long (I just measured for you) but they are slanted on the brush - which I am not sure I like, I would rather have them all straight.  The picture does not show the slant.

A: Yes it works  very well . My dog has a double coat  Buy it you will love the way it thins out coat.

A: It should be. I have a golden retriever with areas of short hair and it works great. He love to be brushed with this brush.

Brilliant just what we needed. Very good for puppies with matted hair.

This brush doesn’t really get any knots or tangled out, but works well for a tidy up or super soft brush. Would be good for building up to a more firm brush if just getting the dog used to grooming, but is also good for little touch-ups and gentle grooming when the dog isn’t knotty.
