We tried with cold press but it affects the taste. Canola oil is non GMO. **Q: can i use this as a fragrance oil in candles?** A: Personally i would not recommend it as the all is for using with food **Q: What are the ingredients? Thanks** A: Hi. Apologies fo late response. The ingredients are chillies and canola/rapeseed oil only. **Q: Hi, does it have a chilli rating?** A: Our chilli oil uses Thai Birdseye chillis which usually are rated around 60,000 on the Scoville scale so when diluted 10 times with the rapeseed oil we use comes out about 6,000 i.e. medium hot ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Chilli Oil - Great as a gift *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 February 2020* I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband who loves anything spicy. The oil comes in a really attractive cardboard box & the bottle is really nice too, it makes a really nice gift.He uses this oil cold ie not for cooking like you would with an extra virgin olive oil. So perfect for dipping in breads, meats & vegetables or drizzling on top of pasta, potatoes or breads. He will eat this old with practically anything.Much better than grocery store chilli oil, & better than the chilli oil i make at home, an excellent flavour with a heat that builds up. Considering he used it with most meals it lasted a long time, he will be buying another bottle definitely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Chilli Oil Ever!! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 28 March 2019* I was looking for a great chilli oil that wasn't too hot but added great additional flavour. This chilli oil does exactly that. Perfect blend between 'heat' and 'flavour'. Not had another chilli oil like it. Problem is that it's now going on all my food! Eggs in the morning, avo at lunch, pasta, chicken, vegetables. Really first class product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leaves you wanting more. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 5 March 2019* My husband was given a bottle of Banhoek Chilli Oil by a good foodie friend who knows his chillies! We tried it first with roast chicken and were hooked straight away by the warm and subtle nutty flavours that unfold and develop in every mouthful, leaving you wanting more. We have since tried it in pretty much everything - salad dressing, on rice and pasta, fish and even on our toasties. Its so delicious and seems to compliment everything, giving it a lively perkiness and making your taste buds tingle. And because it is packaged so nicely it also makes the perfect present.
