I was hoping the Aulos transverse flute would work out for me but my arthritis and stubby fingers made the fingering impossible. I have several Aulos recorders and like them very much for their decent sound and easy maintenance. I was hoping the Aulos transverse flute would work out for me but my arthritis and stubby fingers made the fingering impossible. Those with younger, more flexible/longer fingers will likely enjoy this product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love it!

It plays with the ease of a keyless Irish flute but it has the sharps and flats, by using various fingerings, that are with missing or off sounding when having to find them by using half-holes (as with other keyless flutes). Though this one has one key for D#. The tone is lovely, not breathy. It's not quite as loud as a contemporary keyed flute and fits in perfectly for the period music which I play on it.
