I'm 4'10 at 125 lbs. These came up just above my knee because I'm on the shorter side. I have small calves an these socks hugged my legs well. The material stretches well, breathable, and so far doesn't fall to my ankles. The material looks like smooth leather with a bit of shine. The socks work well over my size 5 ankle boots. I must add non slip sole stickers to the bottom to prevent slipping. These are great, for my costume needs. If there were more options for different hues of brown faux leather and faux suede socks, I would buy them.
