Tayell takes a genre that many other less talented writers have moved past and made a huge mark in it for the entire Surviving the Evacuation series, all 14 volumes now.In this volume, Mort Vivant, our main characters (Bill, Kim, Sholto, Chester, Nilda, and all the rest) just continue to become more real, more complex, and more interesting. The plotting remains so much fun with plenty of action, characterization, and zombies!
