My daughter received a sample of the NARS satin lip pencil and gave it to me. Since then, I use it everytime I leave my home. The color is perfect for everyday wear--enough to color my lips and keep them moisturized. I don't wear a lot of makeup, so this color is perfect for me and fits my natural palette. It isn't a long-lasting lip pencil--I find that I reapply it about once an hour--and I would like it to last a little longer, but the products I've used that are longer-lasting tend to be more irritating to my lips.
