The recommended dosage of four tablets, three times a day is ideal for me. Since they are bigger more likely you would need food in your stomach since they all slightly cold...yes will make you cool. Overall they are effective for first sign of illness....if viral is so strong that your tonsil is so painful, I would switch to andrograhis so reduce any chances of fever Or/and pneumonia. Even with fever andrographis an resolve it quick....the yin chiao cannot handle that .
