Review: Decent and Recommended - I purchased this boat through Saturn about 6 months ago, June 2015. Overall, I say its good for medium use. Its not high end and its not low either. If you are going to use your boat heavily and you can afford an extra $500 or so, I would recommend going with a company such as Mercury that welds their seams and most likely has better attachment glue. I can already see some issues coming down the pike. The pump supplied was non functional so I bought the Bravo high pressure and I highly recommend it if you want to relax for 15mins instead of working pretty hard. I will let you know if they replace the pump without hassle. If you don't want your motor to cavitate, make sure you are able to get the boat to full pressure. I have a two-stroke 15HP long shaft motor. With my tiny bit of motor experience I would say a short shaft is going to have major issues with cavitation. Saturn says you can run a short-shaft but I would really pick their brains about it first. If you don't mind working through a few issues then this boat should last you a few years. The color combination looks very sharp and you can instantly find which boat is yours at the local dingy dock. Because the bow of the boat isn't pinched to a V, you have a lot of floor space. The inflatable v-hull tracks straight and just about the entire hull under the water line is extra re-enforced with additional hull guard material. With that said, it's also a very big boat in every way. 200 lbs with a 4 stroke 9.9. You can put a 8 foot dingy inside this boat just to give you an idea of the size. I can easily shuttle 5 people loaded with gear to and from my boat all day. With one person in the boat and a 9.9 Tohatsu 4 stroke, it is scary fast. I can't even imagine this thing with the max rated 20hp motor. The only negative I can say is a boat this size needs more handles. It has 6 and they serve the purpose but a few more in the rear would be a bonus. I added 4 on my own and it's much better now. With a 9.9 4 stroke, it instantly gets on plane and then you can lower the throttle to about 25% and it will stay on plane. Because of the size of this boat, it is prone to windage, but compared to a smaller boat with smaller diameter tubes, it is a very dry boat under way. Mine is going on 5 years of solid use and its still awesome. No Leaks ever!.
