The details and construction are impressive. There are lots of tiny pieces so be careful not to loose them. My boys and I play with this quite often. They were reluctant at first, telling me it was a girl's toy. Now, they love it. Promotes pretend play but with realistic aspects too. So one thing my boys find hilarious is putting the flowers in the toilet. Its amazing that this thing comes with a toilet scrubber. Totally recommend this. It is awesome that all the pieces fit inside. I do suggest that to prevent the pieces from moving a lot while the house is closed stack them on the top floor. The floor and wall in the photo are two large square magnet tiles that do not come with the house. We use the magnet tiles to create rooms.
