## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent liner (meaning you should wear this inside another glove)

*by A***R on January 3, 2017*

I'm a year-round bicycle commuter, even when temps get into single digits or sub zero. No single piece of clothing is ever going to be the solution to battling the elements--the advice is always to "layer up". That applies to gloves too. These alone won't keep your hands warm in anything but moderate temps (45+), and the heavier, expensive fleece-lined gloves alone can hit lower temp ranges (in my case, maybe down to 20's), but slip these babies inside decent fleece-lined primary gloves and you'll be covered to extremes.I especially like that these are merino wool, as opposed to cotton or neoprene. This means that they are very warm, but also breathable, and if they get a little damp will still keep you warm. Neoprene doesn't breathe or wick as well, and cotton is worse than worthless if it gets damp.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good cool weather gloves/cold weather liners but don't expect touchscreen functionality

*by A***N on January 14, 2018*

My use for these is a glove that provides dexterity during cold weather photography. When temperatures are in the mid 20s or higher, I can use this an only glove almost indefinitely - well at least a few hours. With lower temperatures than that, they work well as glove liners. I've used these in temperatures as low as -4F. How well they work at these very low temperatures depends on whether there is significant wind or not. In the absence of wind, I can use these for ~ 20 mins to do things like work on my camera or computer before needing to warm my hands up. If there is significant wind, you will easily feel uncomfortable in a minute or less; I don't think there is a dexterous glove in existence that will protect you when it is windy and 0F outside! They do work very well as liners under a thicker glove under these conditions though. Touch screen functionality is non-usable both on my phone and camera. I can use the touchpad of my laptop, but I have gone back to using the buttons and dials of my DSLR. The size chart on the Amazon page was accurate and they fit my hands as expected. Overall a good purchase.

### ⭐ Almost no difference VS no liners

*by D***N on November 24, 2018*

Putting these liners inside of other gloves made little to no difference at all in keeping my fingers warm, even at 47 degrees, while riding a motorcycle. Traveling a steady 65 MPH, even with hand guards installed on the bike to help deflect wind, my fingers were STILL freezing after about 20 minutes. By the end of my 45-minute ride, my fingers were getting dangerously cold to a point where it was becoming difficult to actuate my controls. Same results with different gloves slipped over them. Having these liners does almost nothing for warmth; it just makes your fingers fat and clumsy.I've also previously tried thinner polyester glove liners with EXACTLY the same result, so these fancy "ooooh, it's Merino wool!" liners are no better at all.
