He can easily hit the ball without a "t" interfering with his swing. I got a 60 pack of the gamma foam balls, and a 5 gallon bucket. It is a bit loud, he was intimidated by the noise for about 3 minutes, then it was on. He quickly learned how to place the ball in the air stream, and he has a blast hitting balls off the hit zone. Also used it to the same balls with a Jr. tennis racket, but he prefers the baseball bat for now.
