    Quality construction "heavy duty" version of these hangers deliver what they promise

Actually, I bought the "heavy duty" version of these hangers --- not the "suit" hanger.  The "heavy duty" version definitely lives up to its claim, i.e. they are capable of holding up to 18 pounds or so of weight. They are well-made and sturdy hangers that deliver what they promise. As a comparison,  I have also bought some other brands of  "heavy duty" flocked hangers on Amazon and must say that the Bykes brand have upheld better than the others in terms of holding weight.  As an example, I use one to hang a heavy winter wool coat and it has held the weight just fine, without breaking!
