Like many others I have been on and off wanting to buy the real deal but just can't bring myself to justify shoes for 1k. I am typically a 7.5-8 US, a 8.5US in Valentino, and based off the reviews I opted for the 8.5 because I have wider feet. The fit is perfect! Straps are longer than the real rock studs, but they lay flat and aren't noticeable honestly. I have seen many reviews where people complain about the slippery sole or the plastic smell and I think they aren't removing the plastic liner. It is really hard to see but it's there. Best thing to do is take a pair of tweezers and run it along the point of the sole and it will lift easily (attached a pic). There is a plastic smell after but dissipates quickly. I live in Canada and the cheapest shipping only took about a week (Calgary). The seller is excellent, highly responsive to questions. These shoes are a bit pricey but the quality is definitely there. I took one star off because some of the studs were chipped (painted plastic) on arrival. A bag of replacement studs was given but not enough to repair all the chipped ones. Reached out to the seller and they are sending me more. Not noticeable unless you bring the shoe up to your face however. Yesterday I wore the shoe all day at the office and it felt great! No sore feet thanks to the sturdy straps keeping my foot from moving around and the nice cushioned footbed. For Canadians with US friends, might be worthwhile to look at having the shoes shipped by Amazon in the US and having them shipped up to you after/or pick up in person. I saved $30 a pair with free shipping and no taxes and duties. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I liked them a lot *by C***N on May 18, 2017* I purchased the Kaitlyn Pan flats prior to these, and I liked them a lot, but these are the best shoes! I moved to a tiny town where no one knows the name Valentino. I got soooo many compliments on these purely for the fact that they are such a beautiful and head-turning shoe. They are the best dupes I have ever gotten a hold of and I used to work at Nordstrom where a lot of the women owned Valentino's. I sized a half size up after reading all the reviews and they fit perfectly. The pictures do not do these justice! They are stunning in person and the studs are so shiny and perfect. For being a tenth of the price of the real thing, they are spot on! I was worried about breaking them in at work, so I brought another pair with me just in case. The other pair was not needed because these were so comfortable to move around in all day. The kitten heel is an attractive and comfortable height. This is my second pair- my first pair were the black matte/nude 4 inch heels. They're beautiful too. These kitten heels far surpassed my expectations! The craftsmanship is perfect- the rockstuds are a soft gold. I wanted the red patent in the 2.5 inch heel to match a bag I got for Christmas. The color is exactly what I was hoping for!I was so nervous about the size based on all of the reviews. So many ladies say to size up at least half a size. Mine would've been too big had I sized up. I measured my foot in centimeters and ordered them according to Kaitlyn Pan's size chart. I'm an 8.5 all the time and I ordered an 8.5 and they're perfect. Don't forget to remove the thin protective coating on the outside of the sole.
