After applying conditioner and doing a heavy amount of detangling, I then applied leave-in conditioner for curls, curl cream and a small amount of oil and let it drip dry. It's better than new and blends well. There was a handful of shedding, though.Original:I was really happy with this ponytail initially. I was able to lift the color to my perfect shade of dark brown and have only used it for a total of about 3 weeks. After the last gentle cleanse and conditioning, the hair was so tangled that attempting to detangle it felt damaging and the hair is essentially matted. The only thing I can do with it now is make a very messy bun.
