These clippers are sharp, and they have rounded tips to protect him from slip ups. He tends to get squirmy when it's time for a clipping. Overall, great product. In one regard, these shears met my expectation. They are very sharp and easily cut my dogs silky smooth fur. However, I can only cut for a very short period of time due to how uncomfortable they are! Perhaps, for those with smaller hands, this is not an issue. That said, my hands are definitely not extra large and after only a few minutes of cutting, the pressure, predominantly on my thumb, is intensely uncomfortable.
