The YouGarden Victoria Plum Tree 'Lil Vic' is a dwarf variety grown on St Julien rootstock, perfect for small gardens or pots. Standing 70cm tall at delivery and maturing to 2m in-ground or 1.2m in containers, it produces abundant full-sized Victoria plums from self-fertile blossoms in spring through summer. Easy to care for with moderate watering and slow-release fertiliser, 'Lil Vic' brings fresh, homegrown fruit to urban gardeners craving a fruitful, space-smart solution.

## Features

- VICTORIA PLUM: A smaller version of the ever popular Victoria Plum, 'Lil Vic' has been created using a dwarfing rootstock which makes it suitable for even small gardens.
- SMALL TREE LARGE CROPS: This variety still produces masses of full size fruits. This self-fertile fruit tree will produce pretty white blossom in spring followed by fruit in July and August.
- CARE: Apply slow release fertiliser in early spring and mulch to retain moisture. Thin out fruits in May. Water regularly - if in a pot, don't let the soil dry out.
- DETAILS: Supplied as an established tree, 70cm tall grown on an St Julien dwarfing rootstock in a 4.5L pot, growing to a height and spread of 2m. This small fruit tree only ever reaches 2m tall across 7-10 years when planted in the ground, but will reach 1.2m or so when grown in pots.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this bush need full sun as I have a shaded spot I need to fill.**
A: I only planted last year so plant is still immature. I put it in a sunny spot and would suggest any fruiting plant will do best in as much sunshine as possible, if you want to get a usable crop.

**Q: will this tree need some kind of feeding / plant food?**
A: I put chicken pellets at the bottom of the hole, then added compost. I also mixed compost with the soil I packed around the bottom part of the plant.  I then gave the plant a good daily watering for about 3 months.  The plant is doing well.

**Q: Could you please confirm the size of the supplied plant?**
A: It was a stick about 20cms tall, no blossom nor sign of blossom. Very weedy looking.

**Q: What colour is the blossom please?**
A: White

My first plum tree was damaged in transit after informing YouGarden of this and sending a photo of the damaged tree , I received a prompt reply and an apology with a promise to replace it .
