I have crazy oily skin. I apply this after moisturizer and before makeup application. I only to need to blot and powder twice during the day compared to every 15 minutes without it. This product is brand new and just came out, as I am writing this review.I received this product just a couple of days ago, and like the regular OC Eight, it does give a matte finish and keeps me oil-free, but the downside is that my face does not look natural. When I only put this one on, my face has less oil and not shiny, but it looks very powdery and white. It's obvious that I have something on my face, and it doesn't look good. This is obviously because of the 7% benzoyl peroxide in it.Overall, this mattifying gel is better as a spot treatment, but not for the whole face.Before, I would put the regular OC Eight on my face, then follow with a spot treatment. But now since this product has come out, I can just use the OC Eight Acne Mattifier for spot treatment with my regular OC Eight gel for the rest of my face.For me, I really like this product, but I still need both this one and the regular OC Eight to make my face look natural. If you use this Acne Mattifying gel on the spots, it doesn't look too bad on the face, and not noticeable at all. But if you use it on the entire face, then it is noticeable you have something on your face with a light, white substance.I still recommend this, but if you don't have acne-prone skin, then I highly suggest you only get the regular OC Eight, since that one is better.The price of this one is still very expensive since it just came out, but I do hope that the price will go down eventually after some time... I hope!!!EDIT: 7/31/12So after using this product some more, I have rated this product at 3 out of 5 stars now. This gel really does dry on white on the face, so I recommend you only use it on spots and in very little amounts. For me, it is okay. But this one is not great for me. I still must use the original OC Eight with this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for 10 hours when combined with pantothenic acid vitamins. *by G***G on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2013* I love this product. It use to only work for about 6 hours for perfect matte finish and about 8 hours with a little oil on my face at the end of the day. I take about a pea sized dab and use that on the right side of my face, then another pea size for the left side. Make sure you don't rub it in. Just glide it over the face. After i'm finished with that I take another 1/4 pea size dab and build it up next to my nose/t-zone then do the other side of my nose/t-zone. Blow dry your face after and this takes about 5 min. Then it takes about 30 more min to completely dry from there. This is a morning task but you won't regret it several hours later. During the day everyday take about 3000mg of pantothenic acid tablets and your set. Give a few days on the tablets to start working but you'll be good to go after that. Good luck people. This is truly the way to beat an oily face.
