It is not greasy and absorbs into your skin completely. You do not even have to shower it off.I'm not a HUGE fan of vanilla scent for a massage as I only got it for my husband knowing he likes the TASTE of vanilla....that's where the 5 star rating doesn't happen. It doesn't taste like anything at all. I only got it for the flavor. When it is described as "edible" I think it's going to taste like the edible flavor I purchase. Disappointing. However, that being said the scent was very relaxing and nice.
