However, to your question work your way from 88 to 107 not using seek as that is locating strong FM channels. when you find a channel very weak or no signal at all collaborate the Sirrius to that channel, as it is a small signal transmitter, then you should be able to dial in all the satellite channels if it has been registered with Serrius and activated. For the price it's a decent deal.Note that this radio will NOT (apparently) play the Best of XM channels. I wanted Opie & Anthony in my car and when I asked Sirius Customer Service, they said that the model of radio that I have will not support those channels. Bah.The radio itself is nice and compact, but the multitude of cords that it requires makes it awkward. I mounted it on my dash and the three big cords fall down across my gearshift. It's great for the home. The old radio bradcasts it's signal to any radio in the entire house that's tuned to the selected fm station. The new model has trouble broadcasting to a radio that's only a foot away! So you need to do a direct connect to jacks on the back of your radio. That means you must buy multiple radios for every room in the house, or pricey signal distribution units. Apparentley, there were complaints that the signnal was too strong and interfered with other radios, so they dropped the signal strength. Then I bought a Phillips cassette adaptor for $9 at Walmart, put that in my car's cassette player and then plugged it into this Xact receiver. Now my car stereo plays satellite radio that is very clear -- There's no static at all.
