During my teenage years I had lots of pimples, had a small window of skin being okay mid-twenties, and then started to notice it was losing a little firmness and looking a little red in some spots. I had lost 20 pounds which probably did not help with the firmness issue. I was also really irked that when I stuck my tongue against the inside of my cheek, sort of stretching it out, I could see little veins on the surface of my cheek. So I switched to this for a face moisturizer after using shiseido for many years. For the price I was paying for Shiseido, I felt like I should be getting more bang for my bucks.I am really pleased with the results from using this. I have been using it every day for almost a month now and am about 2/3rds through the bottle. It was probably at the three week mark that I started to see very noticeable results. I was pleasantly surprised at how much my skin tone evened out, redness went away, freckles are much lighter, and my skin is a lot more firm. Other people have been noticing too. My boyfriend commented that my skin looks a lot more refreshed and glowing, friends have been asking me what I'm using on my face, and most importantly of all I notice it every time I look in the mirror. I still do see the little veins in my cheek when I poke my tongue, but it is probably 50% less noticeable. I am hopeful that if I continue to use this skin strengthening complex they will go away entirely as my skin gets thicker and healthier.At first I was not used to the smell since I had been using a more perfume-y moisturizer for the last 5+ years, but I have actually grown to like it. It smells neutral, almost pleasant, and fades pretty quickly. Many of the perfumed moisturizers make me sneeze for about 5 minutes until it fades a bit haha. The moisturizer seems to absorb entirely and does not make my face feel greasy nor does it make it feel like it is still thirsty for more moisture. I have caught my boyfriend using it a few times, too, and he really likes the way it feels on his skin.As it stands right now, my skin looks better than it has looked in the last 16 years of my life and that is not an exaggeration. It is a new feeling for me to actually admire my own skin when I look in the mirror with absolutely no make up on. In fact, I am starting to wear foundation less often because I am really enjoying this new feeling!That all being said, I paid 57.95 for the skin strengthening complex (here on Amazon) and feel that 79 is a pretty steep increase in a matter of one month. So that is why I say be cautious of how much you pay. It is still more on the company's website, though, but you can definitely find it for cheaper than 79 from different sellers. The claims are accurate and it is indeed capable of repairing and replenishing--I have seen marked improvements in my skin with continued use. The greatest difference is in lightening sun-induced discolorations. Due to the cost, I have tried less expensive formulas containing niacinamide with limited (or no) results. After just a week of going back to Nia24, I can already see the difference and I do not experience break outs as I have with other products.This is a lightweight cream that goes on silky smooth and beyond the niacinamide it contains a combination of emollients, cell communicating and skin identical ingredients and antioxidants, all of which I look for in all of my skincare products. As well, it is packaged in an opaque tube which keeps these ingredients active (exposure to air and light breaks down antioxidants, etc.) and also keeps the cream free of bacteria (from continually dipping your fingers in jar packaging). I know one of the reviewers complained about the packaging, I'd rather keep the expensive ingredients active and germ free, thank you very much. Nia24 is simple: Cleanser and this wonderful Skin Strengthening Complex lotion. The routine happens once in the morning and again at night before bedtime. I've seen outstanding results with this product. It isn't greasy and it evens out skin tone, fades sunspots, and prevents further sun damage if you're someone who spends a lot of time outside. The lotion doesn't get in the way of applying make-up if you like to use foundation or other facial beauty products. I"ve used it for 5 plus years. I admit I've deviated and tried other products over that time, and I've found some good items.
