Really happy that it works smoothly with both. The smart Switch comes in box with the smart switch, the 4 screws to mount it and the detailed and illustrated manual with the wiring diagram that is required to install it. I paid the electrician 50 bucks to install it but it can easily be done yourself as the manual has diagrams and is descriptive. Just install the Wifi switch between the device and the electricity switch. Then connect the smart Wifi switch to your Wifi network using the EweLink app on your phone. Press the small black physical button on the device for 5-7 seconds and the Wifi switch goes into pairing mode and shows blinking green light. The app walks you through the easy steps required to connect the Homelett smart Wifi switch to your Wifi network and you can also name your device at this time. Basically if enables you to control the switching on/off of lights, devices or gadgets using your Wifi rather than manually.I have connected this device to my tube-light above my bed. I have also connected a toggle switch to manually control the smart switch when I don't want to use it although it does have a small manual black button which you can use to make it work manually. I can switch on/off the tube-light from my mobile and also set schedules and timers using the app for this light. It is really convenient, time saving and fun.It is ready to use with my Amazon Echo Plus and is a breeze to use. Just enable the amazon skill "eWeLink Smart Home" on your Alexa app and it automatically reads the above configured device. Asking Alexa to "Switch on Tube-Light" or "Switch OFF tube-light" verbally, automatically executes that action via the Smart wifi switch. It is almost like a sci-fi movie just walking into your room and telling Alexa verbally to switch on/off the light. My kids think it's magic. I'm really thrilled and happy with my purchase as I can use verbal commands using Alexa when my device is on and also control the lights using the mobile app when my Alexa Device is not ON.
