## Description

OFFICIAL TARGET AID - this is the official military M4 Carbine 25 Meter Zeroing Target printed on an EZ Peel Notepad.

Review: Great AR zeroing targets! - Grate to zero any AR platform rifle. Double sided great quality targets.
Review: Useful under some shooting conditions - I use these not as intended. First, I picked the M4 edition because the grids are almost 1/2" squares, which at 25 yards is about 2 MOA. For the M16A2 and later iron sights, use the M16A2 edition. This M4 edition works better with standard sights or with M16A1 sights and the M4 iron sights. For the older M16 sights, one square is two clicks of elevation or windage adjustment. For the M4 use the numbers along the edge and the diagram to quickly and accurately adjust your sights. One square for a telescopic sight with 1/4 MOA clicks, eight clicks. Under some lighting conditions it is easier to line up the sights on the center of the silhouette when the target is white and the rest is black. Bullet holes inside the silhouette are easier to see from the 25-yard line, too. Yes, these are 25-METER targets, but most American ranges are in yards and not meters. IMPORTANT--validate sight-in at the appropriate distance. For the M4 Carbine's iron sights, this means shooting at a target placed 300 meters from the firing line. I use these targets with a variety of rifles and have to translate a 25-yard zero into a true zero--it's just rocket science! Note that there is a 1.5" circle in the middle of the silhouette--that is 6 MOA, or about a six-inch pattern at 100 yards distance and an eighteen-inch pattern at 300 yards distance. That is "military grade accuracy!" Big game hunters need to be more accurate--2 MOA is the goal but 3 MOA usually works--if you have 4 MOA on the range, your big game effective range is under 200 yards because hunter goals are a quick, clean, one-shot kill. Varmint hunters need far more accuracy--and 1 MOA is desired. US Army standards while zeroing at 25 meters are putting 3 bullet holes inside that 1.5" circle three to five times in a row. I use a variety of targets because I shoot on different gun ranges with different lighting. Sometimes I need to use a different target in order to achieve the best possible accuracy under the shooting conditions.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where are they made? USA?**
A: It doesn't say on the packaging or the targets where they are made. If you want targets that are definitely made in U.S.A., try the same targets made by Rite In The Rain. I also purchased these and are much nicer targets

**Q: How big are the sheets?**
A: These printed targets are 8.5" wide and 11" tall and come affixed to an EZ Peel Notepad.

**Q: What is the procedure for zeroing an AR15 with A2 sights using these targets?**
A: PlusTactical also has a M16A2 25m Zeroing Target available. http://amzn.to/2wP0CkX

**Q: Will this work for zeroing a 308/7.62?**
A: Yes. Zeroing is accomplished in the same manner as that of the AR-15 5.56 caliber.
