Review: My cat loves these - My cat and I knock these back and forth to each other In the hallway. I had another cat who retrieved them. Fun exercise for my cats. I don’t let them get too tired though. I put these in a mesh laundry bag periodically and add it to a load of laundry to wash them.
Review: A bit smelly when they come out, but later on cats loved them - When I first bought these, I was very disappointed because my cats didn't seem to want to play with them. After a while, however, I found that they were suddenly getting into them. One of my cats naturally plays fetch (not sure why, since I never tried to teach her, but hey, gift horses), and she LOVES doing so with these little bouncy balls and batting/chasing them all over. They are very durable. Though the older ones have some little nips in them, they are still perfectly functional and none have fallen apart. Having bought multiple packages of these since, I've realized the initial problem with the toys. Cats have a strong sense of smell and the initial plasticky, chemical scent (which is strong enough that even I dislike it) puts cats off. Over time, the toys off-gas or something and the smell goes away and then they're fine. I haven't tried any methods for speeding this process up; I have enough old toys that I leave the new ones to just sit in the toy bin and by the time I pull a new one out because an old one was mysteriously lost, the smell has already dissipated. I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars for the gas smell. However, since that is an issue that goes away and since the toys are very good products for the money in all other ways, I am giving 5 stars.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these hard foam or squishy foam? I'm looking to replace some squishy foam balls that my cats go nuts over. They don't play with hard balls.**
A: These are squishy and my cats love playing with them. They can carry them around in their mouths and love when they bounce! And they really love hiding them under the furniture so mom has to go find them!!!

**Q: what is the diameter?**
A: The diameter of each ball is 1 and 11/16ths inches...just a little under 1 3/4 inches. My cat's love them. My only small complaint is that the glue on the paper label on each ball is too good and difficult to remove. They do hold up well to vigorous play!!

**Q: The description says non-toxic, what is it made of and will the dye that makes them colorful come off?**
A: Its a squishy foam material. The color does not fade whatsoever from the ball. The black spots however do fade eventually but the paint is non-toxic so if your cat puts it in their mouth it wont harm them.

**Q: where Are these spongy balls made ??**
A: The packaging is clear, with no labeling whatsoever.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect little cat toys.
*by S***N on June 16, 2025*

Keep reordering because my cat loves these. She’s now 14 and she’s been playing with these her whole life. Out of all her toys, these are her babies that she carries around and plays with. I buy a new pack about every two to three years. They’re soft, they’re bouncy and perfect light to carry. However once they start getting torn up, I throw them away so she’s not eating the bits that fall off.
