Start your shower on ‘hot’, fill the tank all the way up, drop your shower to whatever temp you like. The hot water in the tank will keep this mirror from fogging even in the hottest of showers (which is how I prefer my shower temp). There are two holes on the back for hanging. Now what I do is I have a shower rack with the little razor holders. I have two of them. I simply hang this on those and since my rack has multiple shelves I can pick whatever height works for me. Of course if you like the command hooks for showers and prefer the mirror to hang on the wall it would be super easy to get two hooks, stick them to your shower wall and hang this from that. I’ve thought about doing that but my shower walls are a strange texture and I have to buy special command hooks so until I do that the set up I use works just fine. Also it comes with a mini squeegee that slides in and out of the bottom so you can flick away any water that you get on the mirror after filling it. Such a good product. It slides off mount to empty. I just got this for my boyfriend and he loves it - says it’s the best shower mirror he’s had! **Q: Using it in an outside wooden shower down the jersey shore. Can I screw into the wall instead of using suction cups?** A: If your remove the suction cups which is super easy, the slot will allow your to hand it by two screws like a picture. **Q: Will the adhesive on the larger unit it work on glass?** A: Glass is a better surface than my fiberglass shower stall as far as adhesion goes. I have to be careful not to press too hard when I place the mirror back on the wall after filing the mirror with hot water. If I press too hard, it is very difficult to pry off the wall for the next shave. **Q: Does the small mirror attach to the wall just by suction cups or is there adhesive also?** A: The mirror affixes to the wall using two suction cups that are attached to the top "rail" on the back of the mirror, but the original product does not include any adhesive. If you wanted to modify the mirror to use an adhesive, I believe you could do so rather easily. The suction cups are detachable (without damaging them, should you later change your mind), and you could run a thin, foam, double-sided adhesive strip (like those available in home improvement stores) along the top "rail" where the suction cups were attached, and press the mirror with the adhesive on to the shower or bathtub wall. I can't say with how long such an adhesive would stay in place, but you certainly could try it and find out.
