The best price with the most extensive details and information about the product was on Amazon. I received it very quickly (A+). It was exactly as described (A+). The price (after seeing and using the product) was extremely fair - in fact, surprisingly low for such a quality product. This messenger bag is very well made with all sorts of storage capability, well-padded to protect my MacBook Pro, and strikingly good looking. Many of the bags I looked at before buying this one, looked, for my style and taste, a little too gaudy (all the leather trim, brass shiny buckles and buttons) . They looked more like a "man purse" which is something I did not want. This has a tasteful, stylish look to it while still having a utilitarian look. It is a great bag! It has just the right mix of style and functionality for my tastes! The canvas of which it is made is quality - in terms of thickness (not too thick, not too thin and "floppy"). I feel totally confident in its ability to hold all that I need to carry around with me (I teach College courses) and, carry it safely. Some of my students even commented favorably on the bag and asked me where I got it. This tells me that it's also appealing to younger (than me) people. In summary, I am very impressed with this bag - for its functionality, performance, and for having just the right flair of some contemporary styling without going "over the top". I strongly recommend this bag. I feel it looks appropriate on campus and feel that it would look just as appropriate in a corporate environment. I have tried almost every form of laptop bag/backpack on the market and this one gets it right with only a few very small complaints.Pros:+ The bag is made of very thick, durable materials.+ All seams are double stitched and appear to be put together very well.+ POCKETS! There are pockets everywhere. I really like the outside rear pocket (Velcro). It makes slipping items (Watch, wallet, phone, etc.) in your bag while your in security at the airport without actually opening the bag.+ Several reviewers complained about the offset handle. It does carry a little awkward but I found out that it slips over the handler of my rolling luggage and holds the bag perfectly. I'm calling this a pro. Possibly designed this way.+ Price! You can' buy a bag of this quality at this price. Trust me, I've tried.+ The buckles and strap swivels are high quality. Same hardware as I have on my other high priced bags.Cons:- The material used to hold the pens on the front is too thick. I have not found a pen cap to slip easily over the fabric to keep them in place. And most will not slide down far enough to secure the pen in the bottom pocket.- The stitching on the shoulder pad is not the same quality as the rest of the bag. It seems like it should hold up well, It just doesn't look as nice as the rest of the bag.- There is padding on the back of the bag at the laptop section but it is very thin. The padding on the inside of the bag and the bottom is pretty substantial. I'm not too worried about the back of the bag because that's usually against your body anyway.Overall it's a great bag. It's nothing flashy, the color is a brown/green. Not the military Olive Drab color. I can carry all of my day to day gear in it with room to spare. I could not be happier with this purchase. It's a great size and has a padded pocket that adequately protects my computer. It has two additional compartments in the main section, one smaller one that fits my tablet for relatively easy access. In addition, it has three pockets along the front, one larger one that's holds most stuff like headphones, paper work, etc.. And two smaller ones for lots of misc stuff including my phone. The front flap claps securely with two rugged clasps (different that the snaps pictured with the version listed on Amazon and a nice upgrade) and has a mesh pocket in the back that holds all my charging cables. There is a big pocket along the back that holds paperwork or a book. Overall quality of workmanship is solid. The handle is off-center and works well with a computer. The strap is comfortably padded and works well for carrying any distance .A great purchase for the price. And looks good as well. Quality is excellent with no issues related to wear and tear.
