Hospital said they didn't prescribe unless had surgery and I was just not able to tolerate my ankle even touching the floor. Spent two weeks resting as advised but was then told to get the ankle moving. I did for a week with just crutches and it was agony, I was literally in tears when I tried to walk. Gave this a go and used it alongside the crutches. It has given me a chance of getting moving again and not having lasting damage. Supports the ankle really well and helps to control pain and swelling. Yes my ankle is still very sore and I can't use it much but that is down to it being a very severe sprain. This has made my life so much easier. Would definitely recommend.
