My older dog has bouts of diarrhea if someone feeds her something she is not used to. This product really works. Directions are by weight of dog & it takes a day or two to go into effect. It helps make our puppers more comfortable and prevents any messy accidents inside the house! This is not a product to be used long-term, but only for a couple days at a time (if you need it longer than that or your dog is getting recurrent bouts of diarrhea, take your dog to the vet). I mixed the medication with my dog's kibble and she ate it right up, so no complaints about taste from her! The only issue I have with this product is the dosing information. For dogs 51+ pounds, the dose is 1 Tbsp every 12 hours. My dog is a Mastiff-Rottweiler mix and weighs approximately 140 lbs. I tried the one 1 Tbsp dosing but it was ineffective. 2 Tbsp every 12 hours while she was symptomatic was more appropriate.
