My 12 year old Daughter Started Trumpet this past fall. The 7C she was using was difficult for her, so we bought these 5c Pieces and she is doing wonderfully with it! I even used the extra one in my Bessen Trumpet just to see how the sound is. I love it. While I won't use this as my everyday mouthpiece, I will use it from time to time. No box; just loose and clinking in the package. Since this was the last one available it might have been a return. The mouthpieces were supposed to be 3C, but were deeper and wider than a B@ch 3C and are closer to 1.5C. They are well made and appear to be equivalent to the original 60$ ones.
