It has substantial weight, not flimsy. I have always used the Vanity Fair “Everyday” napkins which are about 6.5” x 6.5” and they sit perfectly in this napkin holder (as it it was made for these napkins!). There is no weighted thing on top of the napkins so it is easy to grab just one and the other stay in place nicely. However, this is something to be aware of if using it outdoors where it is windy, since the napkins have nothing to hold them down. But for indoors I don’t need or want that extra weighted piece. I had the first napkin holder for quite a few years and it seems very durable. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Pretty but of questionable quality *by L***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2018* It's a looker for sure, but mine arrived with two feet broken off.
