I was surprised to see people weren't happy with these spoons because "they're not spoons".These are not spoons, these are primarily straws. If you're buying these with the purpose OTHER than to drink cocktails, or any other drink where you'd want to give a nice stir, you may be disappointed. I ordered these knowing exactly what they were for and received exactly what I ordered.The reason that spoon isn't that shallow is because it's a bar-spoon measurement, which is meant for a small dose of syrup for an Old Fashioned, or a couple of spoons of Worcestershire sauce to make the perfect Bloody Mary.Even if you just want to serve a cold glass of water to a friend without using a plastic straw, they'll be happy. And if you think that circular disc fails at being a spoon?
