And these are for an item that is used by most people who likely do not have children around and are a little less dexterous than we used to be. And for crying out loud, when you need to replace a hearing aid battery, it's usually an urgent matter when you least expect it, not when you're home next to the pair of scissors! Even with scissors, these suckers are a pain to open. Big, HUGE thumbs down on the packaging. Which packaging team thought this was a good idea anyway?! Sadly, it seems all the hearing aid battery companies are going for the childproof packaging these days, but maybe there's a better design out there.
