My original fan had developed a rattle. I didn't want to replace the power supply as it was fine otherwise. The specs for my fan were 0.5a and 2500rpm. This fan was the closest I could find on Amazon to the original spec. It works perfectly. Even though it spins a bit faster it is pretty quiet. No louder than my original anyway.
