But the most compelling reason to look for change would be the risk of leakage of chemicals into the food while in storage or in microwave.So I started looking into options available and I selected Glasslock since they are break resistant, air tight and BPA free.Here's something I learned when I started using them. I was storing Raisins in plastic containers before and I noticed that the Raisins tasted differently after their initial days in storage. But when I switched to these glass containers the Raisins tasted the same every time I opened them even after weeks in storage!Other reasons to go for glass containers over storage is that they are one time investment so you actually save more in the long run.
