My foot is a little wide and I have a high arch, and while this shoe fits great otherwise, the bottom area of the criss-cross bands on top of the foot may be a little bit too tight for me. They are synthetic, not leather, so probably won't stretch (?) Also, i didn't have discomfort while trying them on but the top of the back is a teeny bit high and might rub there. I really like them so I may keep them anyway, not sure yet. In reading other reviews I got .5 size smaller which fit fine, except for width. I don't wear a Narrow size. However, straps were too wide on my foot, especially around ankle. Lots of space. I also discovered the thick straps take away from the dressiness of the shoe. I was wanting to wear this shoe w/ business casual dresses. Grateful I can return at no charge.
