The vent webbing allows too much sun to pass unchallenged and the top is just one layer of material which in direct Sunlight renders the cooling factor of the web venting NA.This is not the hat for you if your hat size is less than a Mans 71/2 and 8 or 81/2 would probably be a perfect fit.I am a perfect 7 and while it does not fall over my eyes the least bit of breeze even with the strap and the hat is off and flying.So why the 5 stars ?Simple answer is well made and super cheap. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good - but way small *by P***L on July 16, 2016* The hat is surprisingly well-designed and made of good materials.
