I had to return Fat Gripz because 1 inch bars spin esaly inside the fully closed grip** A: If it is an Olympic sized bar, it will fit it perfectly. **Q: Has anyone tried this with hex/trap bar deadlifts? Did it relive hand pain?** A: I don’t think these will work for that. They’re too big and have a slit through them which makes them unstable for anything besides curls. Especially with heavy weight. I would just wrap the bar with tennis over grip. That will add bulk, cushion, and make it a more spongy grip. **Q: Would these work on workout/powerlifting bands for better and more comfortable grasp on bands?** A: It might be worth giving it a try, just keep in mind that these grips have a slit in order to be placed on different handles. About myself: 6' 4" dude with large hands. I say this because I think the average dumbbell diameter is too small for my hand and this product allows me 2 things: a more comfortable yet challenging grip for dumbbells. I've had wrist issues from years of rowing, and this product has increased my wrist stability from increased forearm strength while also getting a great pump. I'm starting to notice that I my wrist strength is becoming less of a limiting factor on other lifts. My only draw back (that I don't think is unique to this product) is the placement of your hand relative to the gap when the product is wrapped around the dumbbell.
