The bit works great. However if the chuck loosens you’ll lose it all down the hole. I bought a 10 in threaded rod and put it through the 2nd hole for peace of mind. Other than that it works great with an 8in auger with 10in of ice. I used a 20v Lithium ion drill and did over 10 holes on one batt.

DO NOT BUY!! First hole I drilled it started to bend. Second hole it snapped and bye bye auger. Can’t believe how easy this adapter snapped. So disappointed.
