If I have it on heat at 70 degrees, it's supposed to heat to 70, turn off and then not turn back on until it goes to 69 then it heats to 70. Nuff said. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Looking, Easy to Install Programmable Thermostat *by T***Y on 30 August 2020* I was looking for a Basic Programmable Thermostat that was easy to install, reliable and was easy to setup and control. That's exactly what this Honeywell RTH6360 thermostat is. Installation was straightforward. The thermostat can run on two AA batteries and doesn't require a C wire to operate although if you have one it's a good idea to connect it so it can be powered from the furnace and only use the batteries as a back up. The programming is done on the thermostat screen itself. The instructions are good and the menu is intuitive and easy to follow. This thermostat looks good and isn't too big or industrial looking. It's very stylish and the LCD screen is backlit so it's easy to see in dim hallways or at night. If you're looking for a reliable, programmable thermostat that looks good and is easy to install - You've found it! At a price of $77 it's affordable and competitive with other programmable thermostats. Overall I like this thermostat a lot, the only feature I wish it had was a trim ring so it would cover the screw holes left by previous thermostats in some installations. Many other thermostats have a trim bezel or trim plate that can be installed behind the thermostat to cover larger areas then the thermostat itself. This one doesn't offer that option so if the thermostat you are replacing is larger than the RTH6360 you will have to patch the exposed screw holes and repaint around the thermostat.
