I was pumping for a solid five minutes before I noticed that nothing was happening to the sink. I inflated the sink with an electric pump that I use for inflating air beds (which usually inflate fully in under 5 minutes). Even with the electrical pump it took 10 minutes for the sink to inflate. I don't want to even think about how long it would taken to inflate the sink if I stayed pumping manually. Overall though the sink is comfortable and feels sturdy and it had no leaks. Got the job done.
