It's strong - you could never tear it in two (you'd need scissors) but it's still somehow thin enough that I don't even feel it. I've had them on my keyboard, which gets daily use, for almost a year. Not even one has peeled up or shifted. Very high quality stick (remember that when placing them!), and the lettering hasn't faded or worn off. These are a GREAT purchase if you, like me, find your nails just wear the lettering right off conventional keyboards.
