Also, you are not mentioning if sifted or not sifted. I store 5 Lbs and up. **Q: do these containers come with lids or must the lids be purchased separately?** A: I bought two different sets, one came with lids, one did not, the description of the product stated with lids. The other didn't mention lids and didn't come with them so read carefully. **Q: Can someone please tell me how many grams the 2 qt Polypropylene version weighs in grams? I have the polycarbonate versions which weigh ~220 grams.** A: 174 grams with lid. This is the white round container. **Q: Do these work well for storing brown sugar?** A: Probably.
