I love the idea of an unfinished pipe that gathers color over time through use. It almost feels like you are imbuing the pipe with a bit of you; you are breathing life into this piece. When the color finally comes in, looking at the pipe gives the sense of an heirloom age. Years worth of life are reflected in a few weeks of proper usage. And the fit and finish is phenomenal! Easy draw but well sized hole for control in the airflow. This particular design is perfectly sized for everyday carry. Fits in your pocket for an easy trip to the lounge or a smoke on a hill somewhere. Not too heavy for clenchers and plenty of meat in the bowl to protect your hands.
