FIRST of all- I looked at ALL, well a lot of reviews, the ones where ladies GAVE US their measurements and skipped reviews like- pretty, lovely- I beg gals to put your measurements- if comfortable- or at least let us know where it is tight, loose- anything helps. THANK YOU for all who did this!!~I am 5'7", I wear a 34 DDD, and generally a size 10-12 in pants, and L or XL in tops. I read reviews, looked at the measurement requirements and ordered a size 14, chest measurement 40"- perfect- NOT! The chest was tight, and the arms felt restricting.~The blouse is STUNNING!!!! The embroidery work is detailed, front and back, really a beautiful Kurti. I was pretty bummed it didn't fit.~I went back again to look at sizes, and found a **14W- giving me **2 more inches in the chest! I returned the 14 and ordered the 14W.~If you have a larger chest they have a 'W' which gives 2 more inches in the chest area alone. I did not want to get a size 16, it gave only 1 ½" plus might be big elsewhere.~These DO run small, order a SIZE UP at least (unless you are very very slim), and if larger in chest add the W size.~ Boy I do not like to return or exchange, but when in doubt about something I am super careful handling so it will go back perfect.~When the 14W comes in I will post a pic. I bought a size larger than I normally buy and it just fit. I always launder new clothing before wearing so I washed it on a gentle cycle with cold water and hung it to dry. As it was drying, I gently stretched the cloth in the areas I needed a little bit more room, after drying I steamed ironed it which was really quick and easy to do. I bought 3 Tunics in white with white embroidery and also ordered 3 white tanks that were 30" long from Woman Within (only $7 each). The fabric is see thru and with the long white tanks I have complete coverage plus it gives the Tunic a top quality look. My business and home sit on several acres and I have to go from yard work to the office quickly to take care of customers, I have been looking for a work uniform that would work for both. Due to the high heat and humidity where I live I needed the light color as well as light breathable fabric. I also needed material that would dry quickly and give me full coverage for all the bending and reaching I have to do. I love and live in this style clothing. My wardrobe consists of loose linen and/or cotton tunics and tanks. I'm 5'8" 190# 38DD evenly distributed hourglass 45 yr old casual hippy. The cotton on this shirt is by far the nicest fabric I've ever felt on my skin. It's almost like paper but not fragile or scratchy. The light weight but sturdiness is fabulous for Florida. I find myself swealtering in the heat but then cold when I go inside the A.C. so I lean towards tops with sleeves. This top allows me to stay cool both inside and outside. It's too big, but that's because I got the 22W for fear of Asian sizing being so off with no room for a woman with breasts. I wear a size 16 in pants and usually an xl or 2x in ladies tops. I don't even care about it being too big. I wear it with yoga pants, leggings, jean shorts or as a cover up... I've even used it for a night gown. The more you wash it the softer it becomes. The stitching is spot on, with great detail and construction.
